The Charity When You Wish Upon A Star is a local charity which grants the ‘wishes’ of children suffering from a life threatening illness. They bring a smile to what can sometimes be a very traumatic time, not only for the children concerned but also for the families.
The courage of these children is outstanding and the charity aims to bring a sparkle into their lives no matter how big or small. To make this vision a reality it relies overwhelmingly on the generosity and hard work of its supporters. Quite simply, the more money it receives, the more wishes it can grant.
